Overview
Greenview delivered mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and fire engineering, with a Section J assessment, for a new general purpose area built onto the roof terrace of the Junior School at Presbyterian Ladies' College, Croydon. We worked alongside NBRS Architecture and builder Patterson Building Group to resolve the design fully before work started.
The defining constraint was building on top of a school that stayed open throughout. New services had to thread through a shallow roof zone and connect back into the building below while classes ran underneath, which put a premium on tight coordination between trades and careful staging. The result was a rooftop facility delivered without disruption to the school day.
