Greenview provided Section J energy compliance engineering for the full refurbishment of an existing wing at Courtlands Village, the Christadelphian Aged Care home at North Parramatta, working with Martin O'Toole Architects.
Energy performance carries real weight in aged care, where residents spend much of their time indoors and cannot simply move to a warmer or cooler room. Our assessment examined the thermal envelope, glazing and the interaction between the building fabric and the proposed HVAC, demonstrating compliance for a Class 9c building and giving the project the documentation it needed for approval while supporting a comfortable, efficient environment for residents.
