Blacktown Council Depot

Overview

Greenview provided structural, stormwater, fire hydrant and Section J engineering for an extension to Blacktown City Council's operations depot at Rooty Hill, adding modern office space to one of Western Sydney's busiest depot sites. We worked alongside Nordon Jago on a focused, complete scope for the new works.

The technical task was tying the new office addition into the existing depot: structure designed for long service life, stormwater sized for the added impervious area, hydrant coverage extended to the new facilities, and a Section J assessment proving the office met current energy standards. Each element was documented to the standard council infrastructure requires.
